2015 – A Season of Change, now on to 2016!
Our aim is to make Perth Tennis Club a centre of excellence for Tennis.
We owe a huge thanks to the following providers who have committed support to our development plans - SITA Trust, Gannochy Trust, Robertson Trust and Perth & Kinross Council, as well as our members themselves.
Our replacement courts were finished towards the end of the summer, and we're looking forward to our first complete season with them in 2016.
The changing facilities upgrade commenced in the autumn and will soon be completed.

Club Song on Youtube and Other News!
"Serve, Lob, Rally, Volley, PERTH TENNIS CLUB!" Youtube Club song launched
It's not just John McEnroe who's warming up his vocal chords for the start of Wimbledon. This week Perth Tennis Club launches its club song and video onto the electronic world.
Sung by members of the Club, young and older, the song was the brainchild of members Irene Rixson and Judy Watt. "It just struck us as a really novel way to make people aware of our Club," said Irene, "We want to raise our club's profile, encourage more people to join in the fun we have here and get the whole of Perth humming along!"
Conceived and written over a couple of sessions at the kitchen table, 'Serve, Lob, Rally, Volley' is sung to Manfred Mann's 1964 Number One hit, 'Do Wah Diddy Diddy Dum Diddy Doo'. Accompanying the tune is a video of the recording with inserts of members enjoying some rallies on our tennis courts.
Lines include: "Before we knew it we were warming up our game, singing serve, lob, rally, volley, Perth Tennis Club" and "And we're back training and improving our play, singing serve, lob, rally, volley, Perth Tennis Club ..."
The song was recorded at Kilgraston School in Bridge of Earn last month, with the guidance of Director of Music, Andrew McGarva: "The school and I were delighted to lend a hand to this project" he said, "Kilgraston has a smart new recording studio so the technical side was pretty straightforward, it was the enthusiasm of the members that really made it rock!"
Irene agreed that it had been a very happy occasion: "Everyone who took part thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The oldies in particular loved it as they remembered the original song!" She continued: "We were all on such a high after singing our hearts out and from seeing how the recording and production of a song is done. It was a very happy occasion and made very easy and painless by Andrew's professional expertise".
